We’re planning The Village’s first-ever in person event at the Glasgow Science Centre on Thursday 28th September.
Created by, and for, parents and parents-to-be with experience of care, The Village is a digital community where families can find information, access resources, and connect to others, including team members providing one-to-one advice.
Our plans to expand The Village this year now include free in-person events for Villagers. We’re looking forward to further developing the different kinds of support and events on offer to our community – watch this space!
Remember, it takes a village to raise a child. This event is a fantastic opportunity for more parents with care experience to meet some of the team and each other, building their support networks in an open and welcoming place.

Tea and coffee will be provided on arrival and Glasgow Science Centre ticket prices are covered by the Why Not? Trust team. Attendees are encouraged to bring a packed lunch or budget to buy lunch at the café.
