Birth Parents

The Village is an online community which has grown to now offer a safe space for birth parents whose children are no longer in their care. A space providing connection, understanding, and resources.

If you are a birth parent in Aberdeenshire or North Lanarkshire, we would love to welcome you. Your experiences matter, and you are invited to join our community and connect with others who understand. In The Village, birth parents connect through online groups, social media spaces, and occasional in‑person gatherings. The community offers peer support, reassurance, and friendly conversation, providing both emotional support and practical advice.
